关于地图
Tandil Map Poster & Print
Tandil stands in the south of Buenos Aires province, where the flat pampas are interrupted by the ancient, rounded hills of the Tandilia range. Founded in 1823 as a frontier fort, it grew into a regular grid that fills the valley between the hills, with parks, stone outcrops and the Lago del Fuerte marking its southern side.
The city is famous for the Piedra Movediza, a large balancing rock that rested on the edge of a hill until it fell in 1912; a replica was installed in 2007. Tandil is also known across Argentina for its cheeses and cured meats, and for weekend visitors drawn by walking trails and views over the pampas.
A Tandil map poster shows the tension between order and landscape: the straight blocks of the centre pressing against curving roads that follow the slopes of the hills. The lake adds a quiet, open form to the composition, making it one of the more characterful city maps from the province.

Tandilia hills
Low granite hills rise around the city, and the streets bend to follow them, producing curving lines that contrast with the flat pampas grid.
Founding grid
The historic centre grew around the main square in a regular pattern of blocks, a layout that spreads outward and forms the core of the poster.

为什么选Tandil
一张有意义的地图
Tandil is where many Argentines go to slow down, and plenty have moved there for good. A map of its hills, lake and grid is a reminder of walks up to the Movediza and long afternoons by the water.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, then choose from five styles, including warm Sand and crisp Blueprint. The digital files are $9 with no watermark, and printed posters on matte paper are available framed or unframed.
