The Tabalong River
The river winds through Tanjung and sets the direction of the town. Its bends form the strongest natural line on the map, with streets arranged along its course.

关于地图
Tanjung Map Poster & Print
Tanjung is the capital of Tabalong Regency, at the northern end of South Kalimantan province on the island of Borneo. It lies along the Tabalong River in lowland country, and like many towns in Kalimantan its layout grew along the water and the main road rather than from a central plan.
From above the town appears as a band of streets following the river, with the principal road running roughly parallel and smaller lanes branching off towards the edges. Beyond the built-up area the map opens into plantations, forest and scattered settlements linked by a thin network of roads.
A Tanjung map poster shows that relationship between river and road clearly. The curving watercourse gives the composition its movement, while the streets gather close to it on either side. It is a modest, honest portrait of a regional town in Borneo, and its simplicity is part of what makes it work on a wall.

Main road corridor
A principal road runs through the town alongside the river, and much of Tanjung's built-up area is gathered along this route and its side streets.
Open surroundings
Outside the centre the density drops quickly, leaving wide areas with only a few roads. That open margin frames the town and keeps the poster uncluttered.

为什么选Tanjung
一张有意义的地图
For people from Tabalong, a map of Tanjung is a quiet reminder of home, whether they still live there or have moved to Banjarmasin, Jakarta or further. The river alone is enough to recognise it.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, such as a name, a year or a few words in Indonesian, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
