The river curves past the town on its way north across the lowlands. It adds a strong flowing line that frames the street grid.

关于地图
Teapa Map Poster & Print
Teapa lies in the south of Tabasco, in south-eastern Mexico, where the flat Gulf lowlands begin to rise toward the mountains of Chiapas. The Teapa River runs past the town. The surrounding land is green and humid, with some of the heaviest rainfall in the country and a landscape of pasture, plantations and forested hills.
The area is known for the Grutas de Coconá, a cave system in the hills just outside town, and for sulphur springs in the countryside nearby. Bananas have long been an important local crop. Plantations cover much of the flat land around the river, laid out in regular blocks crossed by access roads and drainage channels.
A Teapa map poster shows a compact grid of streets beside the river, surrounded by the geometric patterns of plantations and the more organic shapes of the hills to the south. Roads leading north toward Villahermosa cross the plain in long straight strokes. It is a portrait of a town on the boundary between two landscapes, drawn in clear black line.

Town grid
A regular pattern of blocks around the central plaza forms the heart of Teapa. It is a tidy, compact shape within the green countryside.
Hills to the south
The first ridges of the Chiapas highlands rise beyond the town. Their winding roads and valleys contrast with the flat, orderly plantations to the north.

为什么选Teapa
一张有意义的地图
For people from Teapa, and for visitors who remember the caves, the river and the hills, the map brings back the shape of a very particular place. It suits a family home, a first apartment or an office far from Tabasco.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line of your choice, and select Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper softens the plantation grid, while Classic brings out the river and streets. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
