Historic old town
The centre is a tight tangle of lanes and plazas that grew over centuries, producing an irregular street pattern quite unlike the planned layouts of later resort areas on the island.

关于地图
Teguise Map Poster & Print
Teguise lies in the centre-north of Lanzarote, on a high plain between volcanic cones. It served as the island's capital for centuries before the administration moved to the port of Arrecife in the nineteenth century, and its old town keeps a compact web of narrow streets and small squares lined with low whitewashed buildings, churches and former convents.
Above the town, the Castillo de Santa Bárbara stands on the rim of the Guanapay volcano, and from the air its crater forms a neat round mark beside the street pattern. The municipality stretches to the east coast, where the resort of Costa Teguise has a very different layout of hotel plots, curving roads and beaches. Every Sunday the old town hosts one of the island's best known markets.
A Teguise map poster brings together the dense historic core and the open volcanic land around it. In monochrome, the irregular streets read almost like an engraving, while the empty space of lava fields and farmland frames them with plenty of room. It is a map that feels both old and very spare.

Guanapay crater
Just outside town, the Guanapay volcano with the Castillo de Santa Bárbara on its rim appears as a distinct circular form, one of the most recognisable shapes on the poster.
Road to Costa Teguise
Roads run from the inland plateau down toward the eastern coast, where the resort area of Costa Teguise meets the Atlantic with its own looser, curving street layout.

为什么选Teguise
一张有意义的地图
Many visitors remember Teguise for a Sunday market stroll or the view from the castle across the island. A map poster turns that memory into something lasting, and for residents it is a portrait of Lanzarote's historic heart.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a trip date or names, and edit the coordinates line if you like. Sand and Paper suit the island's light, while Noir and Blueprint give a sharper look. Digital files cost $9.
