Télimélé Map Poster & Print
Télimélé is the capital of a prefecture in the Kindia region of Guinea, in hilly country on the western side of the Fouta Djallon highlands. The terrain is uneven, and on a map that shows in the roads, which curve and switch direction to follow ridges and valleys rather than run in straight lines.
The town itself is compact, with a centre of connected streets and quarters spreading along the main routes. Streams cut through the surrounding land, and the countryside beyond the town is a mix of farmland, woodland and small settlements joined by narrow tracks.
