Slope-shaped streets
Few streets run straight for long. Most curve with the terrain, so the overall pattern looks organic and irregular, which is very different from a colonial checkerboard.

关于地图
Teloloapan Map Poster & Print
Teloloapan lies in the northern part of Guerrero, in mountainous country between the Balsas basin and the high ground toward Taxco and Iguala. Seen from above, it is not a neat grid. The streets follow the slope, blocks change shape from one corner to the next, and roads leave town along ridges and valleys rather than in straight lines.
That irregularity is what makes the town interesting to draw. Short lanes join longer streets at odd angles. The centre forms a denser knot of blocks. At the edges, the built area frays into hillside plots and winding access roads. In monochrome, the result looks almost hand-drawn, as if the town had been sketched onto the terrain.
The name comes from Nahuatl, as with many places in this part of Mexico. A Teloloapan map poster is a quiet record of a highland town shaped by its ground. It suits people who grew up here, families spread between Guerrero and the United States, and anyone drawn to the way mountain towns fit themselves into the land.

Dense centre
The core of town gathers into a tighter mass of blocks. Its weight anchors the composition, with lighter, more scattered edges around it.
Mountain approaches
Roads into town wind through the surrounding hills. Their looping lines lead the eye in from the margins toward the centre of the poster.
