关于地图
Timon Map Poster & Print
Timon sits on the eastern bank of the Parnaíba River, the natural border between Maranhão and Piauí. Directly opposite lies Teresina, the capital of Piauí, and the two cities form one connected urban area split by the water. Bridges carry road and rail traffic across, and a large share of Timon's residents work or study on the other side.
From above, the river is the defining feature. It bends past the town in a broad, meandering line, with the grid of Timon filling the land to the east. The streets are mostly regular and low-rise, extending outward over flat ground toward the open country of Maranhão.
A Timon map poster works best when it includes the river and a slice of the opposite bank, showing how closely the two cities face each other. In black and white the Parnaíba becomes a strong, curving band that gives the composition its structure.

Cross-river bridges
Several bridges link Timon with Teresina, drawn as short, direct lines across the water that tie two cities and two states together.
Expanding grid
Away from the river, the town spreads eastward in a fairly regular grid of residential blocks, thinning gradually as it reaches the surrounding countryside.

为什么选Timon
一张有意义的地图
Timon is a city lived in relation to the river and to its neighbour, and the map shows both. It makes a good gift for people who cross those bridges every day or who moved away and miss the view of the Parnaíba.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a meaningful date and adjust the coordinates line. Five styles are available, including Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
