关于地图
Torūr Map Poster & Print
Torūr is a town in eastern Telangana, on the Deccan plateau between Warangal and the Krishna basin. From above it has the typical form of a regional market town. A few roads converge on a central area of shops and houses, and the built-up area thins out quickly into agricultural land.
The surrounding landscape is shaped by tanks, the man-made reservoirs that have irrigated this part of the Deccan for centuries. On a map they appear as irregular water bodies scattered among the fields, each with its own embankment and channels. Their shapes add a softer, organic element to the rural road network.
A Torūr map poster is quiet and uncluttered. The town sits at the centre, with roads extending outward like spokes and water bodies placed around it. It is an honest portrait of a working place, well suited to someone who wants to remember a family home or a childhood in rural Telangana.

Irrigation tanks
Traditional reservoirs are scattered across the surrounding land. Their irregular outlines are the most distinctive shapes on the map.
Open farmland
Beyond the town the lines thin out into field tracks and village paths. The open space makes the town itself stand out on the print.

为什么选Torūr
一张有意义的地图
Many people from Telangana towns now live in Hyderabad or abroad. A map of Torūr keeps the place in view, with its roads, its tanks and the layout of the streets around the family house.
You can change the title and subtitle, perhaps to include a family name or year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, such as Paper or Sand for a warmer look, then download HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
