Saint-Maurice delta
The islands at the mouth of the Saint-Maurice split the river into distinct channels. This is the feature that gave the city its name, and it reads clearly on the map.

关于地图
Trois-Rivières Map Poster & Print
Trois-Rivières stands where the Saint-Maurice River meets the Saint Lawrence. At its mouth, the Saint-Maurice divides around islands into several channels, and early French explorers took these channels for three separate rivers. That is where the city’s name comes from. From above, the effect is still striking: a fan of water opens from the north onto the wide river to the south.
Founded in 1634, Trois-Rivières is the second-oldest French city in North America after Quebec City. Its old quarter faces the Saint Lawrence waterfront. For much of the twentieth century it was a major centre of paper production, and the Laviolette Bridge now crosses the Saint Lawrence to the south shore.
A Trois-Rivières map poster is built around its waters. The broad band of the Saint Lawrence runs along the bottom of the frame, the delta channels of the Saint-Maurice divide the east side of the city, and the long span of the bridge adds a clear diagonal. The street grid of the old town and the newer districts fills the land between them.

Saint Lawrence front
The wide Saint Lawrence forms the city’s southern edge. It is a broad, calm expanse of water that anchors the composition and sets off the dense old quarter along its bank.
Laviolette Bridge
The long bridge crosses the Saint Lawrence to the south shore and adds a strong, clean line reaching out across the open water.

为什么选Trois-Rivières
一张有意义的地图
Trois-Rivières is one of those rare cities where the name matches the shape. A map explains the city at a glance. It is a meaningful gift for anyone with roots in Mauricie or a history along the river.
Change the title and subtitle, use French accents or not, and keep or adjust the coordinates line. Then choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the river network well.
