关于地图
Tumeremo Map Poster & Print
Tumeremo is a town in the east of Bolívar state in Venezuela, on the road that runs south from the Orinoco region toward the Gran Sabana. On the map it is a compact settlement, a few dozen blocks set along the highway, with rivers and streams winding through the surrounding land and dense forest pressing close on all sides.
The area is known above all for gold mining, which has drawn people to this part of Guayana for generations. That history is visible less in monuments than in the pattern of the land itself: tracks leading off into the forest, clearings, and small settlements scattered well beyond the edge of the town proper.
A Tumeremo map poster reduces all of this to its essentials. The town's streets form a tight cluster, the highway passes through like a spine, and water courses thread across the open space around it. With so much empty ground on the sheet, the settlement reads as a clear mark in a large landscape, which is exactly what it is.

Rivers and creeks
Thin, winding water courses cross the country around Tumeremo, giving the poster fine curving lines that contrast with the short, straight town blocks.
Forest edge
Beyond the last streets the map is mostly open space, a reminder of how closely the town sits to the forests of the Guayana region.

为什么选Tumeremo
一张有意义的地图
For people from Tumeremo, and for those who worked or travelled through this remote corner of Venezuela, the town's small grid is instantly familiar. A map keeps that memory in a clear, understated form.
Add a personal title, a subtitle such as a date or name, and choose whether to show the coordinates line. Styles include Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand; Sand gives the landscape a warm, earthy tone.
