Ugljan Map Poster & Print
Ugljan lies directly across a narrow channel from Zadar, on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. It is long and thin, running northwest to southeast, and it faces the mainland along almost its entire length. From above, it reads as a tidy strip of land. Its eastern shore is lined with villages, while the western side, facing the open sea, is steeper and much emptier.
The villages sit along the channel side and are linked by a single main road running the length of the island. They include Preko, where the ferries from Zadar dock, as well as Kali, Kukljica and Ugljan village itself. At the southern end, a bridge at Ždrelac connects Ugljan to the neighbouring island of Pašman. Olive groves cover much of the land, and a medieval fortress, St Michael's, stands on a hill above Preko.
An Ugljan map poster works well in a tall format, following the island's long axis. It shows a string of small harbour settlements along one edge and a quiet, unbroken coastline along the other. The road ties them together down the middle, with the narrow bridge gap at the southern tip.

One main road runs the length of the island, linking the villages from end to end. It forms the clearest continuous line on the poster, following Ugljan's long, narrow shape.
Ždrelac bridge
At the southeastern tip, a short bridge crosses a narrow strait to Pašman. It is a small but distinctive detail where two islands almost merge into one outline.
