Ungsang Map Poster & Print
Ungsang lies in the northeast of Yangsan, in South Gyeongsang Province, close to the border with Ulsan. On a map it reads as a valley. Wooded ridges rise on either side, and nearly all the streets, housing estates and industrial sites are packed into the strip of level land between them. The main roads run along the length of the valley rather than across it.
Ungsang sits in the corridor between Busan and Ulsan, two of Korea's largest industrial and port cities. It grew from farming villages into a residential and manufacturing area. Large apartment complexes now stand beside older, lower neighbourhoods and factory lots.
An Ungsang map poster shows that tight fit between mountain and town. The built-up area forms a long, fairly narrow shape. Its edges are softened by small streams and side valleys, and it is framed by broad empty space where the hills rise. It is a simple, strong composition, clearly shaped by the land.

Large residential complexes appear as clusters of repeated blocks with internal roads. Their shapes contrast with the smaller, irregular streets of the older village areas.
Mountain edges
On both sides, forested slopes leave wide areas almost free of roads. That open space gives the map breathing room and a clear frame.
