关于地图
University Park Map Poster & Print
University Park is in Miami-Dade County, west of central Miami, on the flat land typical of South Florida. The area takes its name from Florida International University. The university's main Modesto A. Maidique Campus sits on the community's northern edge. On a map, the campus is a large, open block of buildings, lawns and small lakes.
Around the campus, the streets follow Miami-Dade's numbered grid. Long, straight avenues and streets meet at right angles, with residential blocks filling the spaces in between. Drainage canals cross the grid in straight lines. Retention ponds add small rounded shapes. Along the northern edge, the Tamiami Trail runs east toward downtown.
A University Park map poster brings together this regular suburban grid, the wide open campus and the lines of water. In black and white, the pattern is clean and graphic. It is a natural choice for FIU graduates, faculty and families who live in the surrounding streets.

Numbered street grid
Miami-Dade's standard grid gives the area long, straight roads meeting at right angles. The result is a regular, easy-to-read pattern of blocks.
Canals and ponds
Straight drainage canals and rounded retention ponds cross the flat land. They add water shapes to an otherwise geometric plan.
