关于地图
Vasco da Gama Map Poster & Print
Vasco da Gama sits on the Mormugão peninsula in Goa, a headland between the Arabian Sea and the estuary of the Zuari River. The town has a fairly regular core of streets on the lower ground, with the harbour, railway lines and port installations stretching along the northern waterfront.
It is named after the Portuguese navigator, a reminder of Goa's long colonial history. Mormugão Port, one of India's major harbours, handles cargo from its deep-water berths, and Dabolim Airport lies just to the southeast on the same peninsula. The railway from the interior ends here.
A Vasco da Gama map poster shows a town defined by its edges. The sea wraps around the headland, piers and breakwaters extend into the water, and the estuary opens out on the eastern side. Printed in monochrome, the peninsula makes a clear, distinctive outline.
