关于地图
Villa de Mayo Map Poster & Print
Villa de Mayo is a locality in the Malvinas Argentinas partido, in the north-west of Greater Buenos Aires. On a map it shows the classic pattern of the conurbano: a regular grid of square blocks, broken here and there by diagonal avenues, rail lines and open spaces.
The Belgrano Norte railway runs through the town, and its station is one of the main points around which local life is organised. From there, straight residential streets extend in every direction, lined with low houses, shops and small workshops.
A Villa de Mayo map poster shows the order of the Buenos Aires grid at a local scale. The repetition of blocks gives the print a calm rhythm, while the railway and main roads add strong lines that make the composition instantly recognisable to anyone who lives here.
