关于地图
Waterville Map Poster & Print
Waterville grew up on the west bank of the Kennebec River, and the river is the main feature of any map of the city. The downtown streets run parallel to the water, close to where the river drops over falls that once powered the mills. Across the Kennebec, Winslow faces the city, and bridges connect the two banks.
West of downtown the street pattern loosens into residential blocks and then into wider suburban roads. Colby College sits on Mayflower Hill, and its campus shows as a distinct area of curving drives, quads and open green on the city's edge. Thomas College adds a second campus to a city that has long been a small academic centre for central Maine.
A Waterville map poster lays these parts out together: river, mill-era downtown, neighbourhoods and the hilltop campus. In black and white the Kennebec reads as a broad pale band, and the tighter grid near its bank makes it obvious where the city began.

Mayflower Hill campus
Colby College's campus stands apart from the city grid, with curving drives, open lawns and clustered buildings on the rise west of town.
Bridges to Winslow
Crossings over the Kennebec link Waterville with Winslow on the far bank, and they draw short, strong lines across the water.

为什么选Waterville
一张有意义的地图
Colby and Thomas graduates, families who have lived here for generations and people who once spent a few years in central Maine all have reasons to keep this map. The river and the hill make the layout easy to recognise at a glance.
Add a class year, a family name or a date to the title and subtitle, and choose one of five styles. Blueprint suits the mill-town history, and Paper gives a warmer look. Printed posters can be framed in wood.
