关于地图
Wheaton Map Poster & Print
Wheaton is the county seat of DuPage County, about 25 miles west of downtown Chicago. The town grew along the railroad, and the Union Pacific West commuter line still runs through the centre, with the downtown gathered around the station. The streets beyond follow a regular Midwestern grid of tree-lined residential blocks.
Wheaton College, founded in 1860, occupies a campus of lawns and quads just north of downtown. The Illinois Prairie Path, an early rail-to-trail conversion, crosses the town on the line of an old interurban railway. On the western side, Cantigny Park adds a large expanse of gardens and open ground.
A Wheaton map poster brings these features together in a calm, orderly image. The diagonal railway cuts across the square grid, the campus stands out as a more open area, and parks break the pattern at the edges. It is a map that suits the suburb's measured character.

Wheaton College campus
The college grounds north of downtown form a green, open island of quads and paths within the surrounding residential grid.
Illinois Prairie Path
The trail follows the former interurban route through town, drawing a long, gentle line that ignores the street grid around it.

为什么选Wheaton
一张有意义的地图
Wheaton is a place of graduations, first homes and long commutes. A map poster makes a good gift for Wheaton College alumni or for families who have raised children on these quiet streets.
You can set a title and subtitle, such as a class year or a street address, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Classic suit the grid especially well.
