Radiating roads
Several regional roads meet in Wukari and head out across the savanna. On the poster they read as long lines pointing away from the centre, tying the town to its region.

关于地图
Wukari Map Poster & Print
Wukari lies in the southern part of Taraba State, in the rolling savanna country south of the Benue River. From above, the town is a loose, low-rise network of streets. Major roads lead out in several directions toward neighbouring towns, and the built-up area fades gradually into farmland and scattered settlements.
Wukari is the seat of the Aku Uka, the traditional ruler of the Jukun people. It is closely linked to the history of Kwararafa, a powerful state that once held influence across the middle Benue valley. The town is also home to the Federal University Wukari, which has added new campus roads and buildings to its edges.
A Wukari map poster shows a town that is still growing into the land around it. There is no sharp city edge. Instead, the density of streets rises toward the centre and softens toward the outskirts, and that slow change gives the printed map a calm, organic quality.

Traditional centre
The older core, associated with the Jukun royal institution, has the densest streets. On the map this is where the pattern is tightest before opening out.
University grounds
The Federal University Wukari occupies a larger, more open area with its own internal roads, a distinct block in the town's otherwise informal grid.

为什么选Wukari
一张有意义的地图
Wukari carries deep meaning for Jukun families and for graduates of its university. A map of the town is a restrained way to keep that connection visible at home or at work, without relying on photographs.
Add a title, a subtitle such as a family name or graduation year, and the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand, and download 300 DPI PNG and PDF files for $9, or have it printed.
