关于地图
Yazd Map Poster & Print
Yazd lies on the high plateau of central Iran, between the Dasht-e Kavir and Dasht-e Lut deserts, and its map shows a city designed for heat. The historic core is a dense, irregular maze of narrow covered lanes, courtyard houses and small squares. Around it, the modern city spreads in straighter streets and larger blocks, and beyond that the built area ends abruptly against dry, open ground.
The historic city was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2017 for its earthen architecture. Its skyline is marked by badgirs, the tall windcatchers that funnel cool air into houses, and by the high twin minarets of the Jameh Mosque. Yazd is also one of the main centres of Iran's Zoroastrian community, with a fire temple that keeps a flame said to have burned for centuries.
A Yazd map poster captures the contrast between the old town's intricate lanes and the geometric newer districts. In black and white, the historic core looks almost like a fingerprint, and the surrounding desert gives the whole map a sharp, clean border. It is a map about adapting to a landscape.

Jameh Mosque
The Friday Mosque sits within the old city, its tall portal and minarets a landmark. The map shows the lanes gathering around its position.
Desert edge
Beyond the modern districts the land opens into dry plateau and mountains. The city's outline against this emptiness is crisp and clearly defined.

为什么选Yazd
一张有意义的地图
Yazd is a map for people who value craft, architecture and the ingenuity of desert cities, and for anyone who has wandered its lanes. The old town's pattern alone is worth framing.
Add a title, a subtitle with a date or a line in Persian or English, and the coordinates, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand echoes the mudbrick colour of the city.
