The main line
The Yangon–Mandalay railway runs straight through the town. It is the strongest line on the map, and the streets are arranged around it.

关于地图
Yedashe Map Poster & Print
Yedashe is a town in the Bago Region of Myanmar, north of Taungoo, in the valley of the Sittaung River. It lies on the main railway between Yangon and Mandalay, the country's principal north–south corridor, and the main highway runs close by.
From above, the town is organised by transport. The railway and the main road run roughly parallel, and the streets fill the ground between and around them in a loose, practical grid. Rice fields and plantations surround the settlement, and to the east the land rises toward the hills that separate the valley from the Shan and Karen uplands.
A Yedashe map poster captures a town whose shape comes from the line passing through it. The railway is a firm straight stroke, the streets form a modest mesh on either side, and the fields fade out toward the hills. It is a sparse, orderly composition, calm in black and white.

Parallel highway
The main road follows the same north–south corridor. It adds a second long line that reinforces the town's elongated shape.
Valley farmland
Paddy fields and cultivated land surround Yedashe on the flat valley floor. They give the edges of the poster an open, even texture.
