Streets on the slope
The street network bends and climbs with the ground. That gives the town an irregular, organic pattern that contrasts with the straight rural roads leaving it.

关于地图
Yeşilli Map Poster & Print
Yeşilli is a district town in Mardin province in south-eastern Turkey, a short distance from the provincial capital. The region sits where the hills of the Mardin plateau meet the broad plain to the south. That meeting of slope and flatland is what gives Yeşilli its outline from above.
The town's streets follow the terrain. Some run along the contour, while others drop more steeply between blocks. At the edges the built area gives way to fields and dry open land. It is a small place, so the map is uncluttered: a clear centre, a few main routes, and plenty of quiet space around them.
A Yeşilli map poster is best for people with personal ties to the town, whether through family, childhood or work. It records a modest place accurately and doesn't try to turn it into something grander than it is.

Edge of the plain
South of the Mardin hills, the land flattens into the Upper Mesopotamian plain. On the poster the open space around town hints at that wide horizon.
Near Mardin
Yeşilli lies close to the city of Mardin, and the connecting roads run out towards it. Local visitors will recognise that link on the print.
