关于地图
Zapala Map Poster & Print
Zapala lies in the province of Neuquén in Argentine Patagonia, on the high, windswept steppe east of the Andes. From above, it is a tidy grid of streets set in almost entirely open country, with long highways meeting near the town and stretching away across the plateau in straight lines.
The town grew as the terminus of a railway line from the Atlantic coast and remains an important road junction, where routes toward the Andes, the lakes region and the provincial capital converge. Laguna Blanca National Park, known for its birdlife, lies a short drive to the southwest.
A Zapala map poster highlights the contrast between order and emptiness. The regular blocks of the town form a compact, geometric centre, while the roads and railway extend outward across vast blank space. In black and white, the design feels spare and open, much like the landscape itself.

Highway crossroads
Several long highways meet near the town. Their straight lines radiate across the plateau, giving the composition a strong structure.
Railway terminus
The railway that reaches Zapala from the east ends here. Its line enters the town and marks its historical role as an end point.
