Planned grid
The town is laid out in regular blocks with wide avenues and roundabouts. This gives the map a clear, orderly centre with very little irregularity.

关于地图
Zayed City Map Poster & Print
Zayed City, also known as Madinat Zayed, is the main town of the Al Dhafra region in the western part of Abu Dhabi emirate. It is a planned town, and on the map its streets form an orderly pattern of blocks, roundabouts and wide avenues. All around it is open desert, crossed only by a few long, straight highways that connect it to the coast and the oases.
The town is best known for hosting the Al Dhafra Festival, a large traditional event with camel beauty contests and races, date competitions and heritage markets. The Liwa Oasis and its high dunes lie further south. Zayed City serves as an administrative and service centre for the widely scattered communities of the region.
A Zayed City map poster shows a compact, carefully planned town in the middle of very open land. The regular grid stands out clearly, with highways reaching out in straight lines and desert all around. It is a strong, minimalist composition that suits the black-and-white format especially well.

Desert highways
A few long, straight roads leave the town toward the coast and the southern oases. On the map they cut through otherwise empty land.
Festival grounds
The Al Dhafra Festival is held on open ground near the town. The site sits where the planned town meets the desert around it.

为什么选Zayed City
一张有意义的地图
Zayed City suits people who live or work in Al Dhafra, families with roots in the western region, and visitors who came for the festival. The clean grid in open desert looks striking as a minimalist piece.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, including in the style of a date or a family name. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand is a natural fit for the desert setting.
