Town centre grid
The central streets form a compact, fairly regular pattern on the upland. They stand out clearly from the dispersed settlement around them.

A Estrada Map Poster & Print
A Estrada is one of the larger rural municipalities in Galicia, in the interior of the province of Pontevedra. The town itself is compact and sits on relatively level upland, with a modest grid of streets around its centre. Around it, a wide area of small hamlets, fields and woodland spreads out in every direction, which is typical of inland Galicia.
The River Ulla runs along the northern edge of the municipality and forms part of the boundary with the province of A Coruña. Across the rest of the area, the settlement is dispersed: many small parishes, each a cluster of houses linked by narrow country roads. On a map, this creates a fine, net-like texture instead of one dense urban mass.
An A Estrada map poster shows that contrast well: a small, orderly town centre surrounded by a wide, finely drawn rural landscape. It is a good choice for people with Galician roots, since families here often trace their origins to a specific parish rather than just the town.

Parish road network
Narrow roads wind between dozens of small hamlets across the municipality. Together they form a delicate web that fills the outer parts of the print.
The Ulla valley
To the north, the Ulla river follows a winding valley along the municipal boundary. It adds a strong natural line to the edge of the map.
