Al Khabrā’ lies in Saudi Arabia's Al-Qassim Region, in the agricultural heartland southwest of Buraidah and Unaizah. The land is flat and open, and the map shows two geometries next to each other: the planned blocks of the modern town and the patchwork of farms around it, with irrigated plots and palm groves set in straight-edged fields.
Like many Qassim towns, Al Khabrā’ grew around an old settlement and has expanded outward with wide, orderly streets. Farming has long been central to the area, which is known for its dates. Beyond the cultivated land, the desert begins, crossed by long roads to neighbouring towns.
