Amora Map Poster & Print
Amora lies in the municipality of Seixal, on the south side of the Tagus estuary, facing Lisbon across the water. Its defining feature on a map is the Seixal bay, a sheltered inlet of the estuary whose shoreline curves along the town's northern edge. The waterfront gives the otherwise dense residential grid a soft, irregular boundary.
Behind the shore, Amora is mostly made up of apartment blocks and neighbourhoods built as the Lisbon region grew in the second half of the twentieth century. Streets climb gently from the water into the higher ground to the south, with larger roads connecting the town to Almada, the bridges and the motorways leading across the Setúbal peninsula.
An Amora map poster places the bay at the centre of the composition. The tidal water appears as a calm open shape, with the riverside path and waterfront parks tracing its edge, and the town's blocks packed densely behind. It is a portrait of the south bank as many people know it: close to the capital, but with its own view of the water.

Waterfront parks
Green spaces and paths follow parts of the bay shore, giving the edge of the town a quieter, more open pattern than the blocks behind.
South-bank density
Compact residential neighbourhoods fill the land between the water and the main roads, creating a fine, closely set texture typical of Lisbon's southern suburbs.
