Bardaskan Map Poster & Print
Bardaskan lies in Razavi Khorasan province in north-eastern Iran, on the southern side of the province where cultivated land meets the edges of the central desert. From above, the town is a compact settlement of straight streets and walled plots, with a ring of orchards and fields that depend on careful irrigation in a dry climate.
The contrast between green and bare ground is the key to its map. Within the irrigated zone, fields form small, regular parcels crossed by tracks; beyond it, the plain opens out with only a few roads heading toward neighbouring towns such as Kashmar. The town's edges are sharp, since cultivation stops where the water does.
A Bardaskan map poster captures this kind of desert settlement in precise line work: a dense core, broad main avenues, farmland worked into the landscape around it and the empty space beyond. It is a quiet, graphic image of a town shaped by its setting, and one that will mean most to people who know the region well.

Irrigated belt
Around the built-up area, fields and orchards are divided into small parcels, adding a fine, patchwork texture between the town and the desert.
Open plain
Beyond cultivation, the map opens into wide empty ground crossed by a handful of roads, which makes the town's outline stand out sharply.

ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Bardaskan is a map for people with a personal connection to Khorasan: those who were born there, left for Mashhad or Tehran, or now live abroad. Its sharp outline makes a striking piece on a plain wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, including in your preferred spelling. Sand suits the desert setting well, and the $9 digital files include six sizes in PNG and PDF.
