Danvers River mouth
The river's estuary separates Beverly from Salem, crossed by a single bridge. On the poster, water and bridge form a clean edge along the southern side of the city.

Beverly Map Poster & Print
Beverly sits on Massachusetts' North Shore. Its southern edge faces Salem across the mouth of the Danvers River, and the two are linked by a bridge. From above, the city is framed by water. Tidal rivers and marsh wrap around one side, and a coastline of coves, beaches and small points runs east toward Beverly Farms and Prides Crossing.
The city calls itself a birthplace of the American Navy. The schooner Hannah, fitted out here in 1775, was among the first armed vessels commissioned for the Continental cause. Beverly was also home to one of the country's earliest cotton mills, opened in the 1780s.
A Beverly map poster brings out the difference between its parts. The dense colonial-era streets sit near the harbour, and quieter roads wind among the wooded estates along the shore. The Atlantic fills the lower edge of the frame, and a string of coastal parks and beaches marks the boundary.

Historic downtown
Near the harbour, old streets meet at odd angles and short blocks, a pattern set down long before the car. It is the densest part of the drawing.
Gold Coast shoreline
East of downtown the coast breaks into small coves and rocky points along Beverly Farms. Winding shore roads follow them past large wooded properties.

Beverly is a city of harbour walks, summer beaches and deep New England roots. A map of it is a thoughtful housewarming or graduation gift for someone who lived near the Endicott campus, grew up on the North Shore or was married by the water.
