Bloomington Map Poster & Print
Bloomington is an unincorporated community in San Bernardino County, California, set between Fontana and Rialto in the Inland Empire. From above it reads as part of a vast, level grid of arterial roads that covers the valley floor, with long straight streets meeting at right angles and the Interstate 10 corridor running east to west.
The area's semi-rural past still shows in places, in larger lots and looser residential blocks, while newer development and large logistics buildings fill other parts of the grid. North of the valley the San Gabriel and San Bernardino mountains rise, and although they sit beyond the frame, the whole street plan is built on the gentle slope that runs down from them.
A Bloomington map poster draws that order clearly: the long arterials, the freeway, the rail lines and the smaller residential streets filling each large square of the grid. It is a clean, graphic image of a community that many drive through but whose residents know intimately.

Interstate 10
The freeway crosses the area east to west, a strong double line with interchange loops that make one of the most recognisable features on the poster.
Mixed lot sizes
Larger semi-rural lots sit next to denser subdivisions, so the texture of the map changes from square to square across the grid.

Grid-based places produce strong, orderly posters, and this one gives Bloomington residents a map that is truly about their community rather than the cities around it. It works well in a home office, hallway or living room.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the year you moved in, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sizes include 18×24″ and 24×36″, plus metric formats.
