The Braintree Split
The interchange where I-93 and Route 3 divide is one of the most recognisable road junctions in the Boston area, its ramps forming wide loops that stand out clearly on the map.

Braintree Map Poster & Print
Braintree lies just south of Boston on the South Shore of Massachusetts, a town of long residential streets, ponds and wooded patches laid over older colonial roads. The original town of Braintree once included what is now Quincy, which is where John Adams and John Quincy Adams were born, so its name runs deep in early American history.
On the map the road network is irregular and organic, with older routes curving through neighbourhoods rather than forming a grid. Cutting across this is the Braintree Split, the well-known interchange where Interstate 93 and Route 3 separate, drawn as broad looping ramps. Nearby, the Red Line of the Boston subway reaches its southern terminus at Braintree station.
A Braintree map poster places these layers side by side: the quiet suburban streets, the heavy engineering of the highway junction and the rail line that ties the town to the city. The mix of curving lanes and bold infrastructure makes for a surprisingly dynamic black-and-white composition.

Red Line terminus
Braintree station marks the southern end of the Red Line, and the track running north towards Quincy and Boston appears as a thin, steady line through town.
Winding residential roads
Away from the highways the streets curve and branch in the irregular pattern of an older New England town, giving the poster a fine, relaxed texture.
