Repeating grid
Thousands of houses line short parallel streets in a pattern so regular it looks almost like a woven textile, the defining image of the whole map.

Fairview Park Map Poster & Print
Fairview Park is a large private housing estate in the northwest New Territories of Hong Kong, built from the late 1970s as a community of low-rise houses. On a map it is instantly recognisable: an extraordinarily regular grid of short streets and near-identical plots, unlike almost anything else in a city known for its towers.
The estate sits on flat land near the Deep Bay wetlands, surrounded by fish ponds, open fields and villages. The ponds show up as rectangular pools on the map, echoing the estate's own geometry, while the Mai Po nature reserve lies a short distance to the north.
Life here moves at a noticeably different pace from Hong Kong's dense urban districts. A Fairview Park map poster shows the full, almost hypnotic repetition of its streets together with the watery landscape around it, a view of the city that most people never see and residents will recognise at once.

Fish ponds
Rectangular ponds fill the flat land around the estate, a geometric landscape of water that frames the housing and matches its orderly lines.
Deep Bay wetlands
Toward the north the land opens into wetlands near Mai Po, a major stop for migratory birds, giving the map a soft, open edge.

ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Fairview Park is a map for people who grew up among its rows, and for anyone intrigued by a corner of Hong Kong that looks nothing like the skyline. The pattern is graphic enough to hang as pure design.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with your house address, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy all six HD sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF files for $9, or order a matte print.
