Granadero Baigorria Map Poster & Print
Granadero Baigorria is a city in Santa Fe Province, Argentina, directly north of Rosario on the west bank of the Paraná River. It forms part of the Greater Rosario area, and its streets connect almost seamlessly with those of its larger neighbour. From above, a regular Argentine block grid runs right up to the river.
The city takes its name from Juan Bautista Baigorria, a grenadier who fought at the Battle of San Lorenzo under General San Martín. Along the riverfront, the high banks of the Paraná look out toward a wide landscape of islands, channels and wetlands on the Entre Ríos side.
A Granadero Baigorria map poster captures that meeting of order and water. The neat grid on the land ends abruptly at the river, where the broad main channel and a maze of island waterways take over. In black and white, this contrast between straight streets and organic river forms makes a strong composition.

Island channels
Across the river, islands and winding channels create a complex watery landscape that fills one side of the poster with flowing shapes.
Continuous grid
Square blocks extend south into Rosario without a visible break, showing how the city belongs to a larger urban fabric along the river.
