Kihancha is a town in Migori County, in southwestern Kenya, not far from the border with Tanzania. It serves as a local administrative and trading centre for the surrounding Kuria area. From above it is small and open, a cluster of streets set among cultivated fields rather than a continuous city.
The map shows a few main roads doing most of the work. They pass through the centre, where shops and public buildings are concentrated, and then run out across the countryside.
