Pampa grid
The square blocks follow the colonial grid tradition used across the Buenos Aires region. Seen from above, they form an even, calm texture that works well in fine black lines.

La Unión Map Poster & Print
La Unión lies on the southwestern edge of Greater Buenos Aires, in Ezeiza Partido. The metropolitan grid is starting to loosen here. From above, it is a steady field of square blocks, the pattern that stretches across much of the Argentine pampa. A few wider avenues cut through, carrying traffic toward the city and out to the countryside.
The map changes character toward the edges. Tight residential blocks give way to larger plots, green spaces and stretches of open ground, and the grid thins as it goes. That transition from dense suburb to flat, open land is typical of the outer ring of Buenos Aires. It gives the poster a soft, fading border instead of a hard edge.
A La Unión map poster is quiet and geometric. Its appeal lies in repetition: hundreds of near-identical blocks, each a home or a small shop, set in careful rows. For people who grew up here, the pattern is instantly familiar. It suits anyone who remembers a particular corner, a particular walk to school or a first address.

Arterial roads
A handful of broad roads cross the grid diagonally and lengthwise. They connect La Unión with the wider metropolitan area and give the composition its main directional lines.
Open southern edge
At the outskirts, the block pattern breaks up into larger parcels and green space. The result is a gradual fade from city to countryside across the frame.

ለምን La Unión
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
A suburb like La Unión rarely shows up on postcards, yet it is where many lives actually happen. A poster of its streets is a way to honour a first home, a family house or a neighbourhood left behind for another city or country.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, so you might add a family name or the year you moved. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint gives the grid a crisp, drafted look.
