Lumiar Map Poster & Print
Lumiar is a parish in the north of Lisbon, stretching from the Segunda Circular ring road toward the city limits near Odivelas and Loures. It combines an old village core, once a rural retreat outside the capital, with large modern developments such as the Alta de Lisboa. The airport lies just to the east, with its long runway beyond the parish boundary.
The parish is known for its green spaces. Quinta das Conchas e dos Lilases is a large public park created from two historic estates. The Monteiro-Mor Botanical Park surrounds the National Costume Museum, housed in a former palace. Between them run the older streets of Lumiar and Paço do Lumiar, where low houses and walled gardens recall its past as a place of country estates.
A Lumiar map poster shows the contrast that defines this part of Lisbon: winding historic lanes and quinta gardens alongside the broad avenues and regular blocks of newer neighbourhoods. In black and white, the parks become calm open spaces in the middle of the frame, while highways and interchanges draw strong lines along the edges.

Paço do Lumiar
The historic core of Lumiar has narrow streets lined with older houses and walled gardens, a finer pattern than the modern blocks nearby.
Alta de Lisboa
This newer district is laid out with wide avenues and large apartment blocks. It forms a more regular, planned grid at the northern end of the parish.
