One village
The island's houses, harbour and church are gathered in one settlement, so the map has a single, clear point of density among open land.

Olib Map Poster & Print
Olib belongs to the scattered archipelago off Zadar in northern Dalmatia, lying among neighbouring islands such as Silba and Premuda. It is small and low, without the high ridges of the larger Croatian islands. From above its outline is irregular, with shallow coves and small headlands, and its interior is a patchwork of fields, olive groves, macchia and old dry-stone walls dividing the land.
Life on the island centres on a single village of the same name, with a small harbour, a church and a compact grid of stone houses. Beyond it the road network soon thins out into farm tracks and footpaths leading to beaches and bays around the coast. Traffic is light, and much of the island is best crossed on foot.
That simplicity is what makes it appealing on paper. An Olib map poster shows a low island drawn mostly in fine field boundaries and paths, one knot of streets at the village and the Adriatic all around. It is a quiet composition that suits a quiet place, and it rewards a closer look at the network of lines.

Dry-stone walls
Old stone walls divide pastures and olive groves across the interior. At large print sizes they create a fine, textured pattern that covers much of the island.
Shallow coves
The coastline is broken by small bays and low points rather than cliffs, giving the outline a gentle, irregular rhythm around its whole length.

ለምን Olib
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Olib is the kind of island people return to year after year, often through family ties or a long summer on a small boat. A map of it is a personal thing: a reminder of slow days, stone paths and clear water.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or the summer you first arrived, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint works well if the memory is mostly of the sea.
