Narrow waist
The island narrows sharply in the middle, giving it a distinctive pinched shape. On the map, the two broader halves seem to hang from this thin connecting strip.

Silba Map Poster & Print
Silba is a small island in the Zadar archipelago of Croatia. Its shape is unusual: two broader ends joined by a narrow middle, so the island seems almost pinched in two. From above the outline is clean, with rocky shores and small bays on both sides.
The village of Silba sits at that narrow waist, spreading from one side of the island to the other. That position gives it harbours on both coasts, so boats can shelter depending on the wind. Houses, gardens and stone walls fill the centre, linked by paths rather than roads.
Silba is closed to cars, which keeps the island's lanes quiet and the map remarkably clear. The island has a long seafaring tradition, with many of its families linked to sailing. A Silba map poster is small, balanced and easy to read, with the village straddling the waist.

Two harbours
Because the village spans the island's narrowest point, it has landings on both coasts. The poster shows how settlement and sea meet on either side.
Car-free lanes
No cars are allowed, so paths and walled lanes connect houses, gardens and beaches. The result is a fine, informal network rather than a road system.

ለምን Silba
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Silba is a summer retreat for families from Croatia and beyond, many of whom return year after year. The map keeps that small, walkable island in view all year and fits well in a holiday house or a kitchen.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised with a family name or a year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir makes the pinched outline especially striking against the sea.
