Rabwah Map Poster & Print
Rabwah, officially renamed Chenab Nagar, is a town in Chiniot District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It was founded after 1947 on barren land by the Chenab River as a planned settlement. It served as the headquarters of the Ahmadiyya community, and it is still closely associated with the community today.
Because the town was planned, its map is more regular than those of the older market towns around it. Streets follow broad blocks and several clear main roads. The Chenab passes nearby, and low rocky hills rise around the site, some of the few relief features on the flat Punjab plain. Irrigated farmland covers much of the surrounding countryside.
A Rabwah map poster records this planned layout between river and hills with a plain, respectful clarity. For many people with family roots here, now living across Pakistan and around the world, the town's name and streets carry personal meaning. The poster presents that geography without comment, leaving the meaning to whoever hangs it.

Planned blocks
Founded as a planned town, Rabwah has a more regular street layout than neighbouring settlements, with clear main roads and ordered residential blocks.
Rocky hills
Low, rocky hills rise around the town, an unusual feature on the flat Punjab plain. They leave empty areas that frame the built-up core.

Many people hang this map to keep a family home or place of origin in view, often from another country. It shows the actual streets and the river, which makes it personal in a way a general image of Pakistan cannot be.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, a year or either of the town's names. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download $9 HD files in six sizes, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
