Tai Shui Hang Map Poster & Print
Tai Shui Hang is a neighbourhood in the Ma On Shan area of Sha Tin, in Hong Kong's New Territories. It occupies a strip of land along the shore of Tolo Harbour, much of it reclaimed, where residential towers stand in large estate blocks. Behind them the terrain climbs quickly into the hills, so the map is defined by a sharp contrast between water, dense housing and mountainside.
The MTR Tuen Ma line runs through the area on an elevated viaduct, with a station named Tai Shui Hang, while a cycle track and promenade follow the waterfront toward Ma On Shan town centre. The estates are arranged around podiums, gardens and internal roads rather than a street grid, which gives the map a distinctive pattern of large, repeated shapes.
A Tai Shui Hang map poster captures the compressed geography of Hong Kong: a thin coastal strip, tall buildings set close together, and country park slopes rising immediately behind. The harbour shoreline gives one side of the composition a clean edge, while the unbuilt hills fill the other with open space.

Estate blocks
Large residential estates with podiums and courtyards create a pattern of repeated, oversized shapes, very different from a conventional street grid.
Ma On Shan slopes
Steep hillsides rise directly behind the housing, leaving wide unbuilt areas of country park that frame the dense strip below.

ለምን Tai Shui Hang
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Tai Shui Hang is chosen by families who have lived in its estates, by people who grew up in Ma On Shan before moving overseas, and by cyclists who know the harbour track. It is a very specific map of home.
Title the poster with your estate name or a year, and adjust the subtitle and coordinates line. Noir suits the night-time density of the towers, while Classic black & white, Paper, Blueprint and Sand offer lighter readings.
