Canal lines
Irrigation canals cross the plain in long, straight lines. They are the most important structure on the map and the reason for the orderly field pattern around town.

Tandlianwala Map Poster & Print
Tandlianwala is a tehsil town in Faisalabad District, in the heart of Punjab's canal colony farmland. The land here is almost completely flat. The map is shaped by irrigation: straight canals and distributaries cut across the plain, and field boundaries follow them in a regular pattern that stretches to the horizon.
The town is a compact knot within that grid. Older lanes near the bazaar are close and irregular, while newer streets are wider and straighter. Roads leave the town toward Faisalabad and the surrounding villages. Each village appears on the map as a small cluster set among the fields.
A Tandlianwala map poster draws out the contrast between the dense town centre and the calm, measured farmland around it. There are no hills or coastlines here. Instead, the geometry of canals and fields gives the design its structure, and in black and white it looks almost like a textile pattern.

Bazaar core
At the centre, a tight tangle of older lanes stands out against the more open layout of the newer surrounding streets.
Village clusters
Small settlements dot the farmland at regular intervals. Each one forms a compact knot of lanes connected to the town by rural roads.
