Tighri lies in south Delhi, among the neighbourhoods that grew up around older village settlements as the capital expanded. From above it has the fine grain typical of this part of the city. Lanes are narrow and close together, plots are small, and a few wider roads carry traffic past the edge of the neighbourhood.
Like many urban villages in Delhi, it combines an older core with newer construction added over recent decades. On a map this appears as a mix of textures.
