Vineyard slopes
Farm roads and small plots cover the slopes around town, much of it given to vines of the Tacoronte-Acentejo wine region, forming a delicate network of lines.

Tacoronte Map Poster & Print
Tacoronte sits on the northern side of Tenerife, spread across slopes that run from the island's central ridge down to the Atlantic. On a map the town is shaped by the terrain: roads climb in bends and switchbacks, small settlements cluster along ridges, and cultivated plots fill the spaces between them all the way to the coast.
The area is best known for its wine. Tacoronte gives its name to the Tacoronte-Acentejo designation of origin, one of the first established in the Canary Islands, and vineyards cover much of the surrounding land. The historic centre, with its churches and plazas, sits on the higher ground above the sea.
A Tacoronte map poster captures the texture of a landscape tilted toward the ocean. The fine web of rural roads, the denser town centre and the rugged coastline at the lower edge form a composition that feels both detailed and open. It suits anyone who knows this green, terraced side of Tenerife.

Atlantic coastline
At the foot of the slopes, the land drops to a rocky northern coast with small coves, creating a sharp edge against the open sea.
Winding roads
Streets and lanes curve and double back as they climb the hillside, giving the map an organic pattern very different from a flat grid.
