Stallings is a town in Union County, North Carolina, on the southeastern edge of the Charlotte metropolitan area. It grew quickly from a rural crossroads into a suburban community, and its map shows that change clearly. US Highway 74 runs through the town, carrying traffic between Charlotte and Monroe, with shops and services along much of its length. The Monroe Expressway, a toll road, begins nearby.
