Ten Mile River
The river winds through the city and past the old industrial area. It is a thin, curving line that ties the map together and marks where the mills first stood.

El mapa
Attleboro Map Poster & Print
Attleboro sits in Bristol County in southeastern Massachusetts, close to the Rhode Island line. The Ten Mile River runs through the city, and its early mills and workshops grew up along the water. A railway line crosses the centre, and the downtown sits close to the station and the river.
From the late nineteenth century Attleboro became so closely associated with jewellery manufacturing that it was called the Jewelry Capital of the World. Factory buildings still stand near the centre. The city is also home to the La Salette Shrine, known regionally for its large Christmas light display.
An Attleboro map poster traces how a New England industrial city fits its terrain. The river and rail line pass through the middle, and the streets fan out from the downtown into residential neighbourhoods. Ponds and wooded areas break up the outer parts. In black and white, the mix of old centre and suburban edge is clear.

Railway through downtown
The rail line cuts diagonally across the centre. It gives the poster a strong straight element among the more irregular New England streets.
Ponds and green edges
Small ponds and wooded parcels appear around the outer neighbourhoods. They open up the map and add quiet, irregular shapes near its borders.
