Beachfront
A long, straight stretch of sand runs the full length of the village and continues into Baga to the north and Candolim to the south. It forms the map's strongest line.

El mapa
Calangute Map Poster & Print
Calangute lies on the coast of North Goa, along a long, almost straight stretch of beach facing the Arabian Sea. On a map the shoreline is the defining line, running north toward Baga and south toward Candolim. Behind it, a web of narrow lanes, houses and guesthouses spreads inland through palm groves and fields toward the main road.
Calangute has been one of Goa's best-known beach destinations since the 1960s, when it drew some of the first international travellers to the state. It is sometimes called the Queen of Beaches. Its older identity survives in the parish Church of Saint Alex, which stands a short distance inland from the shore.
A Calangute map poster shows how the village is organised around the coast. The straight edge of the sea, the lanes leading down to the beach and the busier roads inland form a clear, layered structure. Blueprint and Noir make the coastline especially crisp.

Lanes to the sea
Narrow roads lead from the inland streets down to the beach. They form a fine comb of short lines connecting the village to the shore at many points.
Saint Alex Church
The parish church stands inland from the beach at the historic heart of the village. It recalls the Portuguese-era settlement that existed long before tourism.

Per què Calangute
Un mapa amb significat
Calangute is where many people first met Goa, on a family holiday, a honeymoon or a long winter stay. A map of the village, its beach and its lanes captures that stretch of coast in a way that feels calm and personal rather than touristy.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a trip, a date or a pair of names, and keep the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download HD files in six sizes for $9 or order a matte print, framed if you like.
