Planned grid
Straight streets and regular blocks cover most of the town, the signature of a settlement planned before it was built, and the clearest feature of the printed poster.

El mapa
Goioerê Map Poster & Print
Goioerê belongs to the northwest of Paraná, a region settled largely in the twentieth century when forest was cleared for coffee and later for grain. Towns founded in that period were often laid out in advance, and from above Goioerê shows it: a regular grid of rectangular blocks, with straight streets meeting at right angles.
Around the urban area the map changes texture completely. Large farm plots, roads running along property lines and small streams cutting through gentle valleys make up the surroundings. The edge of town is sharp, and the grid gives way almost at once to the long, open geometry of agriculture.
A Goioerê map poster is a study in order. Printed in black and white, the evenly spaced blocks form a pattern close to a textile or a drafting sheet, with a few diagonal roads and the green spaces between them breaking the repetition just enough to keep it interesting.

Farmland frame
The grid ends where large rural plots begin, so the poster shows a crisp boundary between the dense urban pattern and the wide fields that surround it.
Stream valleys
Small watercourses wind through the rolling terrain around the town, adding soft, irregular lines that contrast with the strict right angles of the streets.
