Regular street grid
Straight roads divide the flat terrain into even blocks. The pattern is clean and consistent, which reads well in a minimalist black-and-white print.

El mapa
Jiaozhou Map Poster & Print
Jiaozhou is a county-level city administered by Qingdao, set on the plain near the northwest shore of Jiaozhou Bay. The land is flat, and the city's street network is largely regular, with long straight roads crossing at right angles. Rivers move slowly across the plain toward the bay, and farmland fills the spaces between towns.
In 2021, Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport opened within Jiaozhou's territory, replacing the old airport in the city of Qingdao. On a map its long runways and terminal form a large, precise shape, very different from the surrounding streets and fields. New road and rail links now connect it to the bay's other districts.
The area has long been a trading place on the bay, and Jiaozhou is also known for its own style of yangge, a folk dance performed at festivals across Shandong. A Jiaozhou map poster records a city in the middle of change, with an older core, new districts and an airport all visible together.

Per què Jiaozhou
Un mapa amb significat
Jiaozhou has grown quickly, and many people who live there have watched fields turn into new streets. A map fixes that moment and gives it a place on the wall, whether you were born there or moved in recently.
Personalise the poster with a title, a subtitle such as a moving-in date, and a coordinates line. Pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a $9 HD download with six print sizes or as a printed poster.
