Kamoke lies in Gujranwala District, on the old Grand Trunk Road between Lahore and Gujranwala, and the map shows that link clearly. The highway runs straight through the town like a spine, and most of the street network hangs off it, with side roads and lanes reaching out toward the fields on either side.
The town is best known for its grain trade, in particular a large rice market that draws growers from across this part of Punjab, one of the country's main basmati regions. The surrounding plain is almost completely flat and crossed by farm tracks and irrigation channels, so the town appears as a dense cluster set into a patchwork of rectangular plots.

Away from the highway, the older neighbourhoods are made of short, crooked streets packed closely together, which gives the centre of the map its darkest texture.
