The Oskil valley
The river and its low floodplain run past the settlement. On paper they form a soft, continuous line that frames the town's more rigid geometry.

El mapa
Kivsharivka Map Poster & Print
Kivsharivka is in eastern Kharkiv Oblast, beside the Oskil River. From above, the settlement shows the planned look of a twentieth-century Ukrainian town: groups of apartment blocks set around open courtyards, a few long straight streets, and lower-density private houses on the edges.
Beyond the built-up area, the map opens into farmland, belts of trees and the broad river valley. The Oskil runs north to south through this region and shapes how the settlement is placed. The area has been hit hard by the war since 2022, which gives a map of the place a particular meaning for the people who come from there.
A Kivsharivka map poster records the town as a plan: the grid of the residential districts, the roads that lead out of them, and the river alongside. In print, the courtyard blocks form small repeating shapes, and the valley provides a long, quiet counterweight at the edge of the sheet.

Courtyard housing blocks
Mid-century apartment buildings are grouped around shared yards. Seen from above, they create a regular pattern that is easy to recognise in black and white.
Edge of the steppe
Past the last streets, the land opens into fields. This wide empty space makes the compact town stand out clearly on the poster.

Per què Kivsharivka
Un mapa amb significat
Many people from towns in eastern Ukraine now live far from home. A map of the streets they grew up on is a quiet way to keep those places present: the courtyard, the route to the river, the road out of town.
You can add a name, a date or coordinates, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px preview lets you check the framing before buying the HD files for $9 or ordering a print.
