Long straight beach
The shoreline runs in an almost unbroken line. It is the most striking element of the map, dividing the dense resort streets from the open Mediterranean.

El mapa
La Pineda Map Poster & Print
La Pineda is a beach resort on the Costa Daurada. It belongs to the municipality of Vila-seca, between Tarragona and Salou. From above, its defining feature is the coastline, a long, nearly straight line of sand that marks a clean edge along one side of the map. A seafront promenade follows that line, and hotel and apartment blocks sit in orderly rows just behind it.
Inland, the resort fabric gives way to flat coastal land and the roads that link La Pineda with its neighbours. The port and industrial area of Tarragona lie to one side and Salou to the other, so the resort sits within a larger stretch of coastal development. In black and white, the sea becomes a broad blank field against the fine texture of the streets.
A La Pineda map poster centres on that meeting of land and water. The composition is simple and strong, with an unbroken shoreline, a regular strip of holiday architecture and open ground behind it. It is a clear, graphic picture of a place many people know from summers by the sea.

Seafront promenade
A promenade follows the beach, with hotels and apartments lined up behind it. Together they form a regular band that mirrors the curve of the coast.
Between Tarragona and Salou
La Pineda sits between the city and port of Tarragona and the resort of Salou. The map shows how it fits into this continuous coastal corridor.
